Borrowers Welfare Association starts functioning from Chennai

There is some good news out for persons opting for loans from private banks. No more these banks can send goondas to threaten you out illegally. This applies to illegal credit card charges and goonda threats as discussed over here.

I came across a news item in ‘The Hindu’ dated 31st December 2006, where a Borrowers’ Welfare Association has been commissioned of its operation from Chennai. This is a non-profit association with eminent bankers and legal experts in its panel to advise people and bank, in a noble aim to provide an efficiant rapport and long-lasting mutually beneficial relationship.
